What are we looking for?

We are looking for projects, which…

• work with media and formats, which annoy, question, inspire or seek to change – ideally everything, all at once.
• have concrete ideas of whom they wish to reach.
• know where in the city they can best achieve their aim.

Preconditions for participation are…

• The projects should deal with the focus areas of WIENWOCHE 2014 content wise.
• The projects should take place in Vienna and have a local reference.
• The projects must pay regard to a gender sensitive approach in their execution.
• The project work and the projects must not reproduce social mechanisms of exclusion.
• Collective working processes are not required but highly welcomed.
• The chosen participants must realise their projects in the context of WIENWOCHE and present them between 12 and 27 September 2014.

Who can apply?

Individuals, independent cultural initiatives, organisations and collectives may apply (regardless of profession, residence or citizenship).

In this way all those who understand Austria as a land of immigration and who want to critically confront in their projects the changes in society are explicitly addressed. As such, this call is not directed towards "migrants" only.
